Try the meat combo platters! Brisket and pulled pork with all the bbq sauce flavors on the side. Baked beans and french fries sides were plenty to feed a family. Friendly and good service.

I have traveled all over the country and have yet to have better BBQ then right here. The ribs are amazing and the half chicken is incredible. They make a fried Mac and cheese here that is about the tastiest thing I've ever had. If you are lucky enough to be in the area between October and Jan you could get the smoked turkey suffer sandwich with stuffing and on a rare occasion smoked meatloaf is available... I like to get a burger with bacon and teriyaki on out, then add a mac and cheese bite and smash it down which equals happy fat kid status!

You can see the gap between the fish and the breading. No binder at all. The chicken is nice and tender. Ribs hit or miss. Sometimes seasoned nice and tender others dry and tough.

Great BBQ. Reasonably priced. Good sized portions. Everything is custom order so you need to wait a few minutes. But it’s definitely not fast food. All the meats are smoked beautifully. Tender and full of flavor. The coleslaw is the best in the area. The smokehouse BBQ Burger is so good. Definitely generous with the bacon. Local also has to-go and family packages. So we get take out enough to know it’s a good deal and plenty of food. I have been to the Neptune store and it’s the same quality. The Red Bank location is a little more upscale but still casual. Huge Local Smoke Fan!

Highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic! The price was good $25 and me and my boyfriend were both satisfied. We got fried pickles and the two meat platter. We chose pulled pork and the brisket. It also came with two sides we got the Brussels sprouts and the mac and cheese. Everything was great and very flavorful. The pork was a bit too vinegary for my taste but it was still good. The brisket was out of this world as were the Brussels sprouts. Will be back for sure!

Ordered a Pig Out Platter.. finished a Pig Out Platter.. I really enjoyed it - though the portion was quite big. I left the ribs for the last - should have gone for it first - loved it!

I had the Poppy Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The flavor, the quality, and how well everything was put together made it stand out. The food was amazing. The only downside was that I noticed a fly inside the shop. It didn’t ruin the meal, but it’s something worth mentioning so the place can improve. Other than that, the burger itself was perfect.
